• Aviano is in an Aerodrome Traffic Zone (ATZ) also known as a Military Aerodrome Traffic Zone (MATZ), is the airspace surrounding a military aerodrome.
• There is a Notice To All Airman (NOTAM) under the name of “AREAMONTECAVALLO”.
• This NOTAM is “ONLY” for authorised club members who are currently licenced and insured.
• All flying activity must be communicated to the BASE flight control tower.
• All take-offs are inside the ATZ area.
• From Maniago toward the East is an open flight path.
• From Mount. Pizzoc toward the West is an open flight path.
• It is forbidden to fly above the firing range in Cao Malnisio on any day and landing there is not an option.
